Girls Night Out :)

Stephanie (Stephie Lynne), Mom, Stacie, Stephanie, me (Cami)

While the boys were at priesthood on Saturday night
the girls went to Color Me Mine. It was so fun to just be with the girls and test our creativity skills. Stephie Lynn, Mom and Stacie got done far before Stephanie and I so they went home to eat brownies while Steph and I kept working till the wee hours of the night (11:00). Considering that we started at 6 pm… it was quite the project! I love stuff like this so I was in heaven… though extremely sore when I finished. Stephie Lynn made an “it’s your special day” plate. Mom made a plate with dad’s famous saying on it, “I can’t wait ‘til tomorrow… (someone usually asks why – to which he responds) cause I get better look everyday!” :) Stacie made a BYU mug that is super cute. Stephanie decided to out-do us all and paint Gaston on a plate for a friend who is playing Gaston in a play at the moment. It looks amazing! I made something…. I’ll take pictures when I get it back but it’s a surprise… so I’m going to hold you all in suspense :) I’ll give you one clue – It’s for Matt. And I promise when I pick it up I’ll post some pictures of the “master piece."

We also had a lot of fun having dinner and watching conference at our place with Matt’s family on Saturday during the day. My parents came over on Sunday and we went on a picnic and watched the last session of conference with them. All in all it was a great weekend and we loved spending time with family :)

What I wouldn't give to have conference on tv again! We aren't willing to pay for satellite, so we are either camped out on our folding chairs in front of our computer screen, or we have to get all ready, pack as many fun toys in a bag as we can for Mackay, and head to the stake center. Ugh.
