1. I love being blond. (yep blond)
2. I have had several unforgettably awkward door step scenes where the guy has tried to kiss me at which point I have run away, turned my head, or just said no.
3. I asked my husband for his number... hey it worked! :)
4. I can enjoy almost ANY kind of music for what it is. But I LOVE going to music performances and concerts...
5. I have played the piano since I was 7... that's almost 13 years! I love it, it's therapeutic.
6. I love hot showers and baths.
7. I LOVE to travel... there is something extremely fun about going to the air port and flying somewhere... especially somewhere foreign.
8. I love being home. I think most of the time I would rather stay home and watch a movie then go anywhere.
9. I can enjoy being alone... but I like to be around people more - especially Matt.
10. I love computers, photo editing, video editing, blogging, emailing, and expanding my music collection.
11. I love taking pictures... this drives Matt crazy sometimes - but some day he will thank me :)
12. I love food... but I HATE feeling full. I think I would rather be sick than feel full. By full I mean that feeling you have after you go out to eat and you feel like unzipping your pants. YUCK! But I love cooking and I love good food - it brings me so much joy :)
13. I always wanted to serve a mission till I met my husband and knew that he was right for me :)
14. I get really excited for things and plan weeks and months in advance... sometimes this is a curse because I get REALLY disappointed if something doesn't happen the way I planned.
15. I love being crafty... surprise I know :)
16. I love little kids and my favorite job was being a nanny
17. I really like to read, though I haven't been doing too much of it lately. My favorite book of all time is East of Eden by Steinbeck
18. I love running... it's like a drug. I really miss it right now though cause I'm too lazy to wake up a 5:30 to go before work and it's too dark at night... I don't want to die. So I wait patiently till it stays lighter at nights and I can go after work.
19. I love ranch sunflower seeds and ginger ale... especially while watching Gilmore girls.
20. I'm a little shy and self conscious around people I don't know.
21. I love sleeping. I could go to bed at 8:30 every night... but I'm not always very good at sleeping in. Even on the weekends I wake up at 7 automatically and then have to force myself to sleep in cause I know I was up till 3 the night before. I can also sleep anywhere... anytime... ask my husband. I have fallen asleep at work while talking and training someone. I have a really hard time staying awake during movies.
22. I love cleaning and organizing... I HATE doing laundry!
23. I have 8 siblings and I'm an only child at the same time. I'm also the youngest and the middle child at the same time.
24. I like fruit and veggies way more than candy or chocolate.
25. I love when people play with my hair, tickle my back or my arms or my feet.

High School Tag :)

1. Did you date someone from your school? yep
2. What kind of car did you drive? Isuzu Trooper?... when I drove, I usually got rides to school.
3. What was the most embarrassing moment of high school? Hmmm... I had a bunch! But probably when a bunch of guys sang to me in the lunch room to ask me to Prom... I had already been asked so I just had to sit there awkwardly in front of everyone! ... including the boy who had already asked me!
4. Were you a party animal? Not really, I just kind of hung out. I enjoyed hanging out in smaller groups more than going to big parties - but I went to my fair share of parties too!
5. Were you considered a flirt? I may or may not have been considered a flirt ;)
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Choir - yeah baby! :) Acapella for junior and senior years and Madrigals for senior year.
7. Were you a nerd? Not really, I was pretty cool and kinda goofy - but I definitely had my nerdy moments and I got good grades so maybe I was a nerd! haha my self image has been distorted!
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Nope - I didn't really play sports, besides running independently.
9. Did you get suspended/ expelled? nope :) I got sent to the principals office once in 1st grade :)

18. Where did you go senior skip day? I don't remember probably to get food and to a friends house to watch TV or something.

What is your favorite zoo animal?
Definitely the monkeys - especially the miniature ones with crazy hair :)

What was your favorite toy as a child?
Definitely baby dolls! I had lots of those "heavy babies" the ones that felt like real babies. We used to have sleep overs with them, make them bed, set out their outfits, dress them, name them, feed them, take them EVERYWHERE! As embarrassing as this is - I think I took a baby doll to church until I was 10! I just loved my baby dolls.

What food do you eat too much of?
Hmmm... Matt thinks I don't eat enough of anything - but I definitely eat too much butter... this might kill me some day - but it is SO good!

What kind of hairstyle do you have?
Long, straight, blond, with layers
It's actually annoyingly wavy - no - stop there - I'm not lucky! It takes a lot of work to make it straight and a lot of work to make it curly :)

Hmmm... probably running, soccer, volley ball, or basketball - I didn't really mind gym.

Definitely mashed potatoes and gravy... lots of gravy with salt and pepper :) Oh and rolls - this is making me hungry!

6:30... yuck - who wants to think about that!

What is your favorite day of the year?
Probably my birthday! It is just such a huge deal! :) Not really - but it seems like we celebrate my birthday a lot. Matt kind of makes fun of me - but I think my mom just always made such a big deal about it that I want to keep that tradition going :) I want my kids to have big birthdays.

I have to say though that it is definitely tied with Christmas eve :) I just love the anticipation of Christmas and spending time with family.

I've been tagged again!

This tag is pretty hard... but here goes my attempt :) So these are 6 things you may not know about me :) Sorry if you already know these!

1. I LOVE running. I think it is addicting! I think it feels so good and is an excellent way to get away and relieve stress.

2. Before I decided to major in nursing I was going to major in piano performance and I played for 11 years. I don't get the chance very often anymore but Matt keeps asking me to take lessons again so I keep it up. I really need to.

3. I talk in my sleep. I've been told this by numerous people and sometimes I wake myself up from talking too loud! haha

4. I love fruits and vegetables. I think my ideal dinner would be one with just fruits and veggies! Pasta is good too though.

5. I was attacked by yellow jackets when I was 7. I got 50 stings and I was traumatized. I wore a big yellow coat the rest of the summer. haha... It's funny now.

6. I once hit a golf ball 100 yards with a 5 iron. haha That one is really random, but I used it to win Matt over.

Tag, You're It!

1.What is your most embarrassing moment? Hehe, I have a few... One time my friend pantsed (I don't know how to spell that) me in the lunch line in second grade, I was mortified! Another time I was wearing high heels and it was really icy. I had my backpack on and my lunch in one hand. Just before I reached the doors of the school I slipped and fell flat on my face. I must have been swinging my lunch bag because it flew back and hit some poor kid behind me in the face! My most embarrassing moment I'll have to tell you sometime in person... it's too horrific to write on here. And I must say one of my most embarrassing moments was the day I asked Matt for his number. This is totally not like me. He walked me to my car... one of the first times we really talked, after institute and as he was walking away... like 50 yards away, I yelled and asked for his number. I don't know what had gotten into me but I thought for sure he would think I was a freak. I guess the results were good... but it was horribly embarrassing!

2.What is something that you think about and laugh at every time? The time Melissa was pregnant with twins ;) haha

3. What is you favorite season and why? I have to agree with Melissa on Spring being my favorite season, but I like it better when it's later in spring and starts to get warm! May is a good month :) I really enjoy every season, but Winter is my least favorite season.

4.Who is your hero? Matt of course! He is such an amazing person and he doesn't even know how amazing he is! He works hard at everything he does and has a determination that blows my mind! He is so happy and fun and supportive. He can do anything he sets his mind to.

5.What have you learned throughout your life that you would share as advice for others? The most important times in life are the times when you are surrounded by those you love. It's ok to slow down sometimes to have a little fun. Hard times make us stronger. They make us into the person we need to be. Despite how we might feel the sun always rises tomorrow and everything works out in the end.

6.What is your favorite goofy thing that your spouse does which makes you fall in love all over again? Matt makes the funniest faces and can do hillarious impressions of movies/comedians. He also does this funny thing with his hands when he is referring to something or someone that makes me laugh and fall in love with him all over again!

7.What is your favorite book(s) of all time? I loved East of Eden by Steinbeck. But at the risk of sounding nerdy, haha, I also love LDS fiction novels... ok now I sound more nerdy! haha so laugh at me! :)

8.What is one of your pet peeves? Bad drivers, cold showers when you don't want them, white trash guys that whistle at you, stinky dish rags :P, floss that smells like dill pickles, yappy dogs, tendinitis in my wrist, people who can't park, high maintenance girls, haha I can think of lots of things that annoy me sometimes, but don't worry these don't bug me that bad :)

9. Where has been your favorite place to travel and why? Hmm.... Probably Europe because it's so different, but I must admit I would probably pick hawii right now where it's WARM! haha

11) Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I dunno, I haven't decided which side I want yet, probably the side furthest from the door so he can save me if someone breaks in.
12) Who mows the lawn? Well, we wont have a lawn yet cause we'll be in an apartment in Provo, but Matt will do it, unless I'm in the mood to.
13) Who cooks dinner? Me :) Matt usually helps though.. or at least stays in the kitchen and distracts me so it takes about twice as long! hehe
14) Who drives? Usually Matt, I'm not as good about carrying on a conversation and driving at the same time, so if Matt drives we can talk too. haha.
15) Who is more stubborn? Well neither of us are too stubborn. If I correct Matt for something or tell him how I feel his first response is frustration, like "prove it" ;) He wants examples and he gets defensive for a minute or two. Then he gets really humble and laughs and says he knows I'm right and he'll fix it. If he corrects me I usually just feel really really bad and tell him where I'm coming from, and that I'll fix it. Then Matt laughs and says I'm still right. haha.
16) Who kissed who first? Matt played with me lots and made me want it before he kissed me about 3 weeks after our first date.
17) Who asked who out? I asked Matt for his number... I'm still embarrassed about that. But he asked me out first.
18) Who proposed? Matt
19) Who is more sensitive? Me, Matt is sensitive to me sensitivity, but he says someone has to be the man and it's not gonna be me.
20) Who has more siblings? Me: 3 siblings, 3 half siblings, & 2 step siblings for a total of 8..WOW! Matt: 4 siblings
Who wears the pants? Hmmm... Probably Matt and I like it that way. But we usually make decisions together.
