The Birthday!! :)

The Birthday Boy... (He stayed up until 5 am the night before to get ready for a presentation at school and then had to be at the school by 7 dressed like this...)

What a great way to start a birthday right??

Well, I got sick and so I was home from work and he came home around 11:00 to be with me.  I had to help make his birthday a little better... so I made him open his gifts from me right then... :)

24 and Gummy Bears!! :)  Needless to say we watched one episode and spent the rest of the day sleeping.

For dinner we went and got one of these... (Our favorite - Papa John's Pizza with ham, pineapple, and banana peppers on top)!!  Delicious.

On Friday night we went to get Matt's hair cut, then we went and got yummy breakfast sandwhiches from Gandolfos.  We picked up yummy yogurt from the new "Earth Fruits Yogurt" in Provo.  Mmm...  I definitly recommend it.  We both got pomegranet and tart swirl with fruit on top.  I thought I would try watermelon on it and it was definitely the BEST topping!! 

Then we came home and watched some more 24, of course... :)  Then we decided to go for a walk and it was beautiful.  We love living so close to downtown Provo because it's really fun to go walking near there in the evenings.

On Saturday Matt had to study for his finals for a bit.  Then we went up to South Jordan to have a birthday party with his family. :)  I didn't take any pictures, but it was lots of fun and Matt got spoiled!!  Dinner was, at his request, high quality ham burgers, with bacon and fries.

On Sunday my parents came down and spoiled Matt again!! :)  They brought a delicious dinner which consisted of peanut sauce pork chops (yum!), stir fry veggies (carrots and snap peas in a yummy garlic sauce with sesame seeds), salad, and rice.  There were so many amazing flavors and they all went so well together.  My mom is an awesome cook.  Then we sat and talked for a while about law school, etc.  Then Matt had us all try a logic game that was on the LSAT when he took it.  It took us way too long and we all failed miserably - mom did the best out of the three of us. :)

My Mom also made this delicious 4 layer desert I was telling you about and it was to die for!! :)

Matt said he had an awesome birthday - so I think it was a success! :)
