Tuesday Tip!

I want to try something new on the blog!  I was thinking the other day about some of my favorite little tricks that make life just a little easier and I wondered what I would ever do without them.  So, I'm starting Tip Tuesdays where I'll share some of these little tricks and secrets with you.  Some of them are really simple.  I'd also love to have others participate, so if you have a tip you want to share just shoot me an email (stephaniecpurcell@gmail.com) and I'll have you write a guest post.

Have you ever been frustrated because you buy celery and it gets all flimsy and wilted within just a couple days?  Do you miss that pleasant crunch of fresh celery? ;)  Well, don't fret my friends.  There is a solution and it's EASY!
When you get home from the grocery store just wash and cut up the celery before you put it in the fridge!  I like to put ours in a big tupperware like the one pictured here.  The other nice thing about cutting it up like this is that we actually snack on this since it's easy to grab with very little effort.  AND the best part.  NO FLIMSY CELERY!  This stuff will stay crunchy for up to 2 weeks!  Try it and let me know what you think.

did you know that when celery gets flimsy all you have to do is put it in water and it stiffens right back up?? :) Thank my mama for that tip

Thank you for your comment on my blog! It really saved the day. I read that "anonymous" comment just a few moments before and was just LIVID and annoyed and angry and felt so insulted. And then when you told me just to ignore it and agreed with me and stood up for what I was trying to say it saved my day! <3 seriously thank you times a million! :)
