Health Update:

I've been having some health issues lately. We aren't really sure what is wrong yet. I'm pretty sure I'm hypoglycemic but there is something more because I get sick every time I eat too. So basically, if I don't eat about every hour I get nauseated and faint, but every time I eat my stomach hurts. Sometimes it's such a sharp pain that I have to stop what I'm doing and bend over. I'm thinking I might be lactose intolerant or have stomach ulcers or a parasite...? The worst part about it is that we don't know what is wrong... it's easier to have answers... and solutions. Right now we just know I'm sick and that I'm losing a lot of weight quickly... If you have any answers or experience please let us know! Luckily I have a dr's appointment in Jan but we are trying to get in sooner.

On a happier note :) - we were lying in bed last night and Matt says, "I'm so excited for tomorrow!" I say, "Why?" (expecting a normal response). Matt says, "'Cause I get better lookin' every day." (I guess that is the expected response for Matt ;)) It just made me laugh. :) We are done our Christmas shopping and we are getting really excited for Christmas! Merry Christmas! xx

After you eat do you get sick? I always suggest Celiac Disease. Google it.

hey, you should get a food diary and write everything you eat and what time and then write how bad it hurts on a scale of 1 -10 up until your doc appt. it'll really help your doctor see what's wrong, esp if he can narrow it down to what it is. I've never had what you have but I get sick after I eat a lot too and that's what my doctor told me to do.. hope it helps. it might even help you too, that way you can see if you feel sicker after dairy ot meat, or sweets. keep us posted:)

Hmm...maybe pregnancy...just kidding--that sounds more serious. I have had headaches for years with no help from doctors. One time I had such a bad headache that my vision was blurring. I went to the doctor who gave me migraine medicine--no help. He then gave me a shot directly into my blood stream so that i could get medicine quickly--also didn't work, and it was the maximum dose they could give an adult. I have finally had to start dealing with it the best I can, and they have gradually decreased on their own. It seems like when we are little, doctors are miracle workers and know the answer to every question. When we get older it is not so, and it is very frustrating. Good luck and get better soon!

GIRL-I'M SO SORRY! LANDON HAS ULCERS AND IS HYPOGLYCEMIC! AND IT'S NO FUN! AT LEAST THEY CAN BOTH BE TREATED, RIGHT? :) I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER! YOU ARE TOO MUCH FUN TO BE SICK! :)

I am sorry that doesn't sound fun at all!! It could be a deficiency in zinc or some other vitamin or mineral so make sure you are taking a good multi-vitamin every day. Drink lots of water, dehydration can make you nauseous. The other thing it could be is gallstones...so maybe look into that and see if it fits. Give me a call when you get a chance:)

Hello Purcell family. You don't know us but we are the Nielson family... we live here in utah.
I noticed that you are not feeling so well. You might want to try some XanGo juice. I know this sounds weird but it is a great fruit that helps with blood sugar. It is a whole fruit called a Mangosteen. If you want to try it let me know. I believe in this so much that I am sharing it with you.
