I Finally Finished It! :)

So remember months and months ago when I bought fabric to make a baby quilt.... well I finished it! haha Now you can see why I'm starting now ;) I actually just recently started it. I cut the fabric just when ever I got a chance. But then on Friday night while Matt was having a guys night I watching Gilmore Girls and Sewed/Cut the entire thing! :) Needless to say my back was a little sore from all that sewing, but it was fun and turned out really cute :) - if I say so myself! I keep pulling it out of the closet and making Matt admire it with me, then I make him feel how soft it is against his face - he humors me. Here is the blanket from all angles:

Flat Side

Ruffled Side

Both :)

Oh ya, I'm not really supposed to say this but Matt likes watching Gilmore Girls with me and when I watch it without him he makes me fill him in on what happened :)

Good Job...SO CUTE! And YES it does take its toll on your back LOL! I can't tell if you have washed it yet or not...but if you haven't, I usually put mine in just a rinse cycle with some fabric softner and then put it in the dryer and it makes it rag even more:)

I get my fabric at Joann's and I usually just wait until it is on sale like between 1.99 and 2.99 a yard. I think I probably spent $30 on my first one, but if you just wait and only buy the on sale fabric you can do a blanket for $15. I usually cut it really close though...I hardly have any waste.

Your quilt looks great! I can't believe you made it in one night. Bryan loves the Gilmore Girls too. We used to have some of the seasons on DVD and he just commented a few days ago how he misses watching them!
