Exciting News!!

Tomorrow is Friday and Matt's little brother Michael (16) and Stacie (20) are coming over for a slumber party at our house :) We can't wait and we are sure it will be the highlight of our week. It will most likely involve FOOD, treats, games, movies and possibly something crazy and spontaneous. BRING IT ON!! We are glad that we have family in our life to make it a little more exciting than just waking up and going to work and school every day.

I'm sure that everyone feels like this sometimes, but I really feel like I have nothing to blog about... ever. Ok, so the title of this post is a little mis-leading, but how else am I supposed to get you to look?! I used to blog all the time and now I have pity on you all and don't want to bore you with our daily rituals. However since I don't really keep a good journal I'll give a few details of our life at the moment.

Matt put a new garbage disposal in yesterday... YAY!! We haven't had one for 2 weeks and you don't realise how much you need it until you don't have it anymore. Our counters are stacked high with dishes and we are running out of clean dishes because it is a pain to wash dishes without a disposal. Thankfully, my sweet husband is going to wash them all for me today.

I got another blood test yesterday and let me tell you, I am PRO at it now. I just stick my arm out and say go ahead, stick me! Luckily I have pretty good veins so people hardly ever miss.

I have been getting into playing the piano again, since we have my grandma's nice Yamaha grand piano upstairs. I have missed it and it brings me so much joy. I must admit that I pulled out my favorite book of Christmas arrangements yesterday and played a few... Guilty as charged.

Matt's been keeping pretty busy, he has a full load of classes. He is also taking a GMAT class to help him get ready for that. Then on top of that he volunteers for 6 hours a week at the Utah State Hospital, and for 4 hours a week in the Emergency Room at Timp Hospital. He really enjoys it and always has funny, sick, or sad stories.

Well, I think that's about it for our lives at the moment, sorry there aren't any pictures or more exciting things to say... maybe next time :)
