Tidbits...

I often feel like I don't have anything to write about. But I got this idea from my friend, Lexi's, blog. I thought it was a good way to share a few random things I've been thinking about.

First: I LOVE cucumber. This is one of my favorite times of year for many reasons. One of those reasons is because our amazing families, who have been slaving away all year in their gardens, like to share the fruits of their labors with us student, apartment, Provo, folks. So I get to enjoy fresh, garden, handpicked, cucumbers (among other things). I just ate a whole cucumber that was peeled and lightly salted - yum!

This entire plate was full of cucumber wedges at one point.

Second: We have been enjoying are all the raspberries that Matt's parents have given us from their garden. We have 3 freezer bags full and we use them for smoothies - yum.

Third: I just put up my fall decorations and it's making me so excited for the holidays! I LOVE fall. I may post a picture soon...

Fourth: I also love Fall because we can finally stand to cuddle again! It's just such a cozy time of year.

Fifth: Remember how I said I have a problem drinking things?... Well today I spilled protein drink all over myself. This picture was taken after I had tried to sponge it off a few times and my shirt had dried.

That's preeeetty saweet huh?

Sixth:  I was reminded of this fun experience when I read my friend, Laura's, recent blog post entitled 'Deodorant and Comet'.  She is H-I-L-L-A-R-I-O-U-S...  :)  Cracks me up every time.  Anyway, not too long ago I had to call poison control for myself.  Yes... I may not be 5 anymore, but the temptation to drink cleaning fluid happens to the best of us, right? JK!  Ok, but seriously.  I had really bad cramps one night and Matt was gone.  I took 4 ibuprophen... then forgot and took 4 more 15 minutes later... then forgot again and took 4 more!!  I may or may not have taken an additional 4 more to make 16.  Anyway... Matt got home and I was telling him, or whining to him, about all the pain I was in... when it dawned on me. :)  Let's just say the lady on the other end of the line had a good laugh and told me to go eat something.  And so far, I have lived to tell the story.  These may look like candy to some unsuspecting victim...

SO FUNNY! Matt really needs to keep a better eye on you. :) One time I gave Mackay a TBSP of cold medicine when it should have been a TSP. I felt really dumb--and kept a good eye on her. Luckily she is still alive, and may or may not be messed up from the experience.
