Christmas 2012: Pounding the Pavement

On Wednesday, we made our way to Matt's parents house and it was so fun to see them, visit, and go shopping for a bit.

In the late afternoon, Matt and I drove to American Fork to have dinner at Zupas with some of the Pound the Pavement for Parenthood ladies.  We loved meeting them to talk about our race and really get the ball rolling for April 27!  It's so great to be part of something bigger than yourself and I can't wait to work with this organization for many years to come.

These ladies are angels.

Jill, me, Jess, and Shellee
It has been so apparent to me through all of this that the Lord's hand is in our lives.  Surely these women are tools in His hands.

"God does notice us, and he watches over us.  But it is usually through another person that he meets our needs." -- President Spencer W. Kimball

I must be super hungry right now cause my mouth is watering reading about all the yummy places you went to eat while you were in Utah. I'm so glad you're a part of the Pound the Pavement for Parenthood fundraisers this year. I can't wait to see how it all goes.
