Christmas 2012: Making Christmas Ornaments

On Thursday we did a little more shopping, went to costco and then went to Uncle James and Aunt Michelle's house to watch the BYU bowl game and eat pizza.  It was so fun to see them and their cute little ones.

On Friday Matt went down to Provo to have pizza and a video game night with the boys while Stephie Lynne and Stacie came up to South Jordan to hang out with us.  It's tradition for each member of the family to get a new Christmas ornament each year and in the past few years, Stephanie has surprised us by MAKING all the ornaments out of clay!  There have been shoes to fit each person's personality, meals from favorite restaurants, gingerbread men, etc.  This year she made desserts and we all got to help her--man, I married into an artistic family! :)

AND we're pretty cute too! ;)  Here we are with some of the ornaments we made.
Stephie Lynne, Mom, Me, Stacie, Michael, and Stephanie

Here we are eating the ornaments we made because they look so delicious.

See?  Amazing right?  All out of clay, caulk, beads, and paint.
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream = Christian
Cupcake = Stacie
Eclair = Michael
Frozen Yogurt with Berries = Stephanie
Chocolate Chip Cookie = Chase
Cannoli = Stephie Lynne
Cheesecake with Raspberry Sauce = ME :)
Cinnamon Roll = Dad
Fruit Tart = Mom
Brownie with Ice Cream and Chocolate = Matt
Cherry Pie = James
Box of Chocolates = Grandma Palmer

I LOVE being home for Christmas.  Everything is so magical and we love spending time with family.  It's kind of fun living out of state and coming home for the holidays because it makes something that is already exciting even MORE exciting.  But, I still want to move back so we can see our family more than once a year! :)
