Total weight gain/loss: I gained 2 lbs from last week, but I'm still down 2 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm not really sure how accurate this is because my weight fluctuates quite a bit from day to day and even throughout the day.
Maternity clothes: Not yet, but most of my pants/skirts are uncomfortably tight because I'm bloaty all the time!
Best moment this week: Hearing out baby's heartbeat!! That was the most incredible thing I've ever experienced. It was also pretty great to find out our exact due date--February 19--and to learn that I am further along than we thought!
Movement: They say the baby is moving now, but I can't feel it,
Waist diameter: I haven't measured this week, but it probably hasn't changed.
Food cravings/Aversions: Still LOVING salty stuff right now: salt and vinegar chips, pickles, popcorn, etc. I'm also craving lots of fruit, but it has to be just the right ripeness. I'm still having lots of meat and chocolate aversions. I can't get enough of the tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden with salt and pepper--AMAZING! My doctor gave me a prescription for Diclegis and it has been working really well for the morning sickness. I'm finally able to sleep through the night without eating and I don't get nauseated during the day. The only down side--it makes me really sleepy, so I basically lounge around and take several naps each day. I'm supposed to be taking it easy anyway, so I'm not complaining.
Labor signs: Thankfully, none.
Belly button in or out? It's definitely too early for this question unless you were born with an outie belly button.
What I miss: NOTHING! I've waited so long to be sick, huge and waddling. I'm not huge and waddling yet, but I'm embracing the sickness as a good sign that things are progressing! I'm really missing hearing our baby's heartbeat and wishing we would have recorded it because I would be listening to it non-stop! Next ultrasound is in 2 weeks and we'll definitely be recording it.
What I am looking forward to: Our next ultrasound on July 25! It will be good to see if the subchorionic hemorrhage has resolved itself and to see our baby and hear the heartbeat again.
Milestones: 8 weeks!!
Realization of the week: It must be pretty tough to be pregnant when you already have kids! I'm so exhausted all the time. I'm really grateful that I'm not working right now because there is no way I would have the energy to go to work everyday. I may be the exception, but so far exhaustion has been my main symptom of pregnancy. I have no energy for anything.
Other funny things: Yoga pants are my best friend these days. If you see me wearing something else, it must be for something really special.
