30 Weeks!

How far along? 30 weeks!

Total weight gain: I've gained 17.5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight!  Moving right on up there. :)

Maternity clothes: Yep!

Best moment this week: There were so many fun things this week!  We went to see Mocking Jay on Thursday night, I went to a fun recipe exchange group during the day on Friday, we had a date day on Saturday and did some shopping, I had a girls night with a bunch of old friends on Saturday night, I got my hair done on Tuesday, we went to see A Christmas Carol with our awesome friends on Tuesday night, and last night we went to the BYU basketball will more awesome friends!  It's been a busy week.

Movement: She's still moving lots!  I keep expecting it to taper off as she gets more crowded, but I'm just soaking it up while I can.  She was moving like crazy during the play on Tuesday night.  I think she liked it. ;) She has also been getting the hiccups ALL THE TIME! I hate the hiccups so I feel kind of bad for her even though they say it doesn't cause any distress. She usually gets them 3-5 times each day. 

Waist diameter: 29 inches at waist, 37.25 inches at the widest section of my belly…and growing!

Food cravings/Aversions: I think my minor lactose intolerance has intensified during pregnancy and it's killing me!  I've been trying to avoid straight milk and ice cream since those seem to be the biggest culprits of the stomach pains.  It's tough though.  I haven't gained any weight since last week which I think is partly due to me not being able to eat what I normally would.

Labor signs: Thankfully, none.

Belly button in or out?  It's starting to pop out just a teeny tiny bit.  You can only see it popping from the side.

What I miss: NOTHING!  We are just so grateful for this little miracle.

What I am looking forward to: I get to pick up the finished quilt on Tuesday!!  We are also expecting the glider to arrive today!  It's going to be so fun to see the nursery come together.  I feel like we still have so much to do, but I'm loving it.

Milestones:  30 weeks!  The baby is approximately 15.71 inches long (from crown to heel) and weighs approximately 2.91 pounds.  Approximately. ;)

Realization of the week: It seems like everyday I realize all over again that we really are pregnant!!  Every day we thank the Lord for this sweet baby girl.  I still can't believe how all of this happened.  I look down at my belly and feel like the most blessed person in the entire world.  Then I realize, yet again, that we really do have an all-knowing, merciful, loving, kind, and generous Heavenly Father.  He's pretty awesome.

Other things: I still haven't started making the crib skirt!  I think I'm nervous about the fabric I chose.  Today--I start. :)  Oh, and here is a picture of us with Rachel and Jon at A Christmas Carol at Hale Center Theater on Tuesday night.  Note the massive belly! :)
