32 Weeks

Thursday, December 25, 2014
How far along? 32 weeks!
Total weight gain: I've gained 21.5 pounds.
Maternity clothes: Yep!  Except for when we exercise.  I don't have any maternity exercise clothes so I just wear stretchy pants with a sports bra on top.  It looks pretty hilarious with my belly hanging out, but since we work out at home it works.  I'll spare you a picture. ;)
Best moment this week: Christmas and spending time with family!  We also went to Matt's work party last Friday which was fun and to the BYU v. Stanford game on Saturday night with Rachel and Jon.
Movement: She is moving like crazy and you can really see it from the outside now.  Sometimes it looks like she is doing the worm in there or something.  It usually feels like there is an alien in there trying to escape.
Waist diameter: 29.25 inches at waist, 38.25 inches at the widest section of my belly
Food cravings/Aversions: I still love fruits and veggies.  I also get cravings for chips and salsa quite often.  I still crave anything buffalo flavored which is so funny to me.
Labor signs: Maybe a few Braxton Hicks contractions, but I don't know what they feel like so it's hard to know!
Belly button in or out?  It's starting to pop out just a teeny tiny bit.  You can only see it popping from the side.
What I miss: NOTHING!  We are just so grateful for this little miracle.
What I am looking forward to: We have a fun weekend planned with family and friends and BYU basketball.  It should be a great weekend!
Milestones:  32 weeks!  The baby is approximately 16.69 inches long (from crown to heel) and weighs approximately 3.75 pounds.  Approximately. ;)
Realization of the week: This year has been a crazy one for us, filled with a few really low points, but lots of really high points.  We feel so grateful for all of our blessings and that the Lord is in charge.

I LOVE being pregnant.  Like more than not being pregnant.  I've felt really great for the most part and even the little pregnancy things that aren't the most fun are more than made up for with all the incredible things I've been able to experience.  There are so many times I just stop and think, "Is this really my life?"  We are so blessed.
Other things: Matt always says really funny things.  Like the other day I said, "I think it will be really hard for me to leave Little B with anyone."  His response: "Ya, we aren't going to…ever."  He was mostly serious which is what makes it so funny.  We just feel really protective of her but know that we'll ease up a bit as time goes on and eventually, we'll need to go on a date and be ok with someone else taking care of her for a little while.

A friend of mine posted this on Instagram and I immediately thought, "It's perfect!"  This is my motto for life--not just pregnancy.

Love it! So sad I missed seeing your pregnant belly. And I'm so happy that you love being pregnant. You deserve to enjoy this after wanting it and waiting for so long.
