How far along? 17 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: My weight varies by about 3 lbs between several hours, so it's hard to really know, but I'm still right around my pre-pregnancy weight. When I asked my OB nurse if we should be concerned she said, "NO! Praise the Lord! You'll have plenty of time to gain weight later." ha.
Maternity clothes: I'm loving my maternity pants from H&M and I'm starting to fit into more and more of my maternity clothes.

Best moment this week: I had another stranger ask me about the baby this week! It still shocks me!
Movement: There have been a couple times over the last couple days where I think I have felt little baby flutters, but nothing certain yet!
Waist diameter: 26.5 inches at waist, 31.75 inches at widest section of belly
Food cravings/Aversions: These sometimes change daily! I still have quite a strong meat aversion and I'm still loving fresh fruits and veggies and my beloved lemon water.
Labor signs: Thankfully, none.
Belly button in or out? In :)
What I miss: NOTHING! I'm just so grateful for this little miracle growing inside.
What I am looking forward to: I'm looking forward to feeling more definite movements from the baby and I'm looking forward to finding out if we are having a little boy or a little girl. We are going to have a fun little gender reveal party.
Milestones: 17 weeks! Baby is about 5.1 inches inches now! I stopped taking my morning sickness meds again and I've been feeling great! So, no more morning sickness! Apparently for me it stops around 16 weeks… at least for this pregnancy.
Realization of the week: The Lord always keeps his promises. Sometimes I look down at my belly and I can't believe this is really happening to ME! I feel so incredibly blessed.
Other things: I have been so, so sick. Not pregnancy sick. I've been fighting a cold for 2.5 weeks. It's finally almost done. Then a week ago I started having symptoms of hand, foot and mouth! Ugh. Then I went to the doctor yesterday to make sure that nothing serious is going on because I was having nerve pain in my forearm that soon spread up to my shoulder and up my neck. The doctor thinks that my immune system is just shot because of pregnancy. She thinks I'm on my way to another Shingles outbreak. I'm REALLY hoping that my body can fight it off and I won't develop the rash. The nurse at my OB office kind of freaked me out a little bit about having shingles while pregnant, but it's actually usually harmless to the baby. I just feel like everything will be ok.
Also, we are always trying to imagine what our little baby will look like. I our baby will definitely have curly hair because we both had curly hair when we were little and mine is still wavy. Here is a picture of matt and I as babies.
