It's Official...

I'm married to an attorney!  No, we didn't tie the knot today--that was 6.5 years ago, but he did get sworn in as an attorney today!  I'm so proud of him for all of his hard work.  It's been a long road, but well worth it.

Campus Walk :)

The last day that Matt's parents where visiting his brother James pulled through with his moving truck (he and his family were moving from Pittsburgh to Provo).  It was fun to have him visit, even if it was only for a day.  We had lots of yummy food and went for a walk around the campus.

And, of course we fed the campus squirrels.

 It's amazing how they'll eat right out of your hand!!  During the summer Matt and I would eat our lunch on a bench outside and feed these squirrels.  Sometimes it freaked me out though because they will come and sit on your feet!  That's a little too close if you ask me!

And, we had to get a picture of all the attorneys/future attorney in front of the ND law school.

People always tell me how much James and Matt look alike--especially with their goatees. :)

The pictures didn't turn out very well for some reason, but I'm glad we got a few anyway.  Matt and James may or may not have had some bonding time playing xbox later that night--even though it was Sunday. ;)  They had to live it up since these best buds hadn't seen each other since last December and won't be seeing each other until next December--man we need to live closer once we're done with school!

Scenes from Our Life

Shortly after we arrived in South Bend last summer, Matt and I took a walk on campus and I snapped a few shots.  I stumbled upon them the other day and thought I would share them with all of you.  I'm constantly in awe of this beautiful place where we work and study each day.  The architecture and landscaping is breath taking.  We feel so blessed.

Hey look, we won!

Back in December Matt received an email from West Law (it's a legal research site he uses) saying that he had won some drawing.  He thought it was just spam or something, but he really had won!  They gave him a TON of points and we used them to add to our movie collection!

25 total!!  I think about five of these were from Christmas, but the rest were from the points he won!  Boo yah. :)  We've been watching lots of movies around here... or were watching lots of movies until Matt started his second semester of law school.

He has been EXTREMELY Busy!  He was up and running at 5 am this morning!  But, he has been doing a lot of his studying here since I don't distract him... too much.

I wish...

I had something cool to blog about! haha. I feel like it's been forever since I've had an actual post! I'll have to find something to post about this weekend...?! Just figured I would check in. Work is going great... I just feel super tired when I get home! Matt has been cleaning the house and we usually just grab something to eat when I get home. Oh well, I have just come to realize that you can't do everything you want to do AND work full-time. I've just learned to accept this, so it's not stressful to me anymore :) I'll post something more exciting later...

oh and PS!!!! Matt got a half tuition scholarship from the business school and there is still the possibility of a private scholarship. :) I'm so proud of him, and we feel SO blessed!

James Christopher Purcell is a BYU Grad!

Matt's brother James graduated from BYU on Friday! We are so proud of him and we are sad that they will be moving away for Law School in August! :( Matt and I decided it would be funny to get him flowers - thus the man-flowers in all the pictures! *Steph - you can get copies of these by clicking on them to make them bigger and then just copy the ones to want to your computer*
